The Eluma Pathway
Three stages. One relationship.
Every family's journey with Eluma follows the same three-stage pathway. It's designed to build trust before we begin, and to keep the work grounded in what matters to your family.
Stage 1
Eluma Discovery
Free. Sixty to ninety minutes. In person. No commitment, no forms, no pressure. This is where every family begins. We listen. We ask. We don't suggest therapy in the first meeting unless the family asks us to.
Many families tell us afterwards that it was the first time they felt heard by a professional.
Stage 2
The first six weeks.
Six weeks of sessions in which we build relationship, observe your child across the places they live and learn, and partner with you to set goals that reflect your child's real life.
By the end of Connections, you and your specialist share a language, a plan, and a clear sense of where the work goes next.
Stage 3
Eluma in Practice
Your child's Early Intervention Specialist works with your child, and with your child's world. They coordinate and advocate across every setting so the goals you set together in Connections are supported everywhere your child lives and learns.
This is the part most families tell us they couldn't find anywhere else. You don't have to be the project manager of your child's care.
What this looks like in practice
At school: We attend Student Support Group meetings, sit at the table with the classroom teacher and integration aide, and advocate for strategies that align with your child's goals. We turn up in person, not just on paper.
At kinder and childcare: We work alongside educators to build inclusion strategies that fit naturally into the room, and attend kinder inclusion support meetings.
With other professionals: If your child sees an OT, speech therapist, psychologist, or any other professional, we coordinate with them directly, aligning approaches and making sure everyone is working toward the same goals.
With the NDIS: We help families navigate plan reviews, write supporting evidence, and communicate with Support Coordinators on your behalf.
With you: Regular goal reviews, practical strategies for home, and honest conversations about what's working and what needs to change.
